Security
SB150 is a multi-day event and we know that it is impossible to tear down and set up your booth each day, so we will be providing a safe, secure campus overnight to protect your assets.

Here is the overnight security that will be provided:
  • There will be four paid, ESG security officers stationed throughout the campus (Jefferson bridge, Howard Park, Seitz Park, and Century Center).
  • Police officers will be patrolling the perimeter of the campus.
  • DTSB Ambassadors and Parks Officers will also be patrolling in and around the campus.
  • 4 large security lights will be used to keep the campus lit though the night.
  • The tents in the Tech Hub will have walls that will be closed and zipped up overnight.
  • The entire Birthday Weekend campus will be fenced in. There is a variety of fencing used in different parts of the campus.
Other notes:
  • In case of inclement weather (severe storms, tornado, ect), we will suggest that you tear down and take home your entire set up. Event coordinators will be watching the weather closely and will communicate any weather emergencies to you.
  • We recommend at the end of each day taking home any small, high value items that people could easily walk away with: mics, virtual realty googles, ect).
  • We are doing everything we can to provide reasonable security, however, SB150 is not responsible lost or stolen items.
Emergency Procedures
In the event of adverse weather or other emergencies please follow the instruction of the public safety officers. You can help keep this event safe and logistically sound by alerting a volunteer or public safety official of any potential adverse situation.
